Suspect caught after chase through New Mansion Square on Monday |

On Monday 06/04/26 at about 5pm Police officers from the South West’s Proactive Disruption team spotted a suspicious car driving along St John’s Hill SW11. When they tried to stop this car the driver sped off and there was a pursuit through Battersea that ended when the driver went along Sleaford Street and stopped in New Mansion Square. The driver, who was the only person in the car ran off and was chased on foot to Thessaly Road where he was caught and arrested. Drugs and cash were found by the officers and a Police dog. The driver, a 24 year old man from Luton was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply, dangerous driving and other driving offences. At Magistrates Court yesterday he was remanded in custody to appear at Crown Court next month. | ||
